Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Moni Lissa Studios. To keep your experience smooth and clear, please review the following policies that apply to all sessions and events: Booking & Retainer A non-refundable retainer of 30% is required to secure your date and time. Remaining balance is due 48 hours before portrait sessions and 7 days before weddings or events. Dates are not guaranteed until retainer and signed agreement are received. Rescheduling & Cancellations One complimentary reschedule is allowed with 72-hour notice (non-events). Weddings/events may reschedule once with 30 days’ notice. Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date within 6 months. Weather reschedules for outdoor sessions are complimentary if unsafe/inclement. Session Details Sessions start at the scheduled time; late arrivals may reduce shooting time. Travel up to 20 miles roundtrip is included; additional mileage or parking is billed. Overtime is billed in 30-minute increments at $200/hr (portraits) or $300/hr (events). Moni Lissa Studios is not responsible for unforeseen issues such as venue restrictions, weather changes, or no-shows. Deliverables Proof galleries delivered within 5 business days for portraits, 10–14 business days for events. Final retouched images delivered within agreed turnaround times. Galleries remain active for 90 days, reactivation fees apply after expiration. Usage & Rights Portrait, boudoir, and family sessions include personal-use rights. Commercial/product/branding sessions require licensing for advertising or marketing. Moni Lissa Studios retains copyright to all images and may use select images for portfolio, unless otherwise agreed. Clients may request a privacy clause for sensitive sessions (e.g., boudoir). Add-Ons Extra retouched images, prints, albums, wall art, rush delivery, and styling/HMU can be added at booking or after the session.
